Asheville Queens

Miss Asheville Queens 1923 - Current

Emily Holbert - 2020

Paige Henderson - 2019

I am 23 years old and currently working toward a Master of Public Administration degree at Appalachian State University. My social impact initiative is called Red, White, Blue and You: Serving America’s Heroes, and the purpose of this initiative is to encourage volunteerism in our nation’s VA’s. I have been volunteering with the Charles George VA in Asheville this semester, and have accumulated over 140 hours so far. I have also been writing a grant to expand the VA’s companion pet program for dementia and memory loss patients.
